Reading Volume
Sorry it has been so long since my last post! Last week was a blur of activity! I have been keeping up with the reading for the most part. I might miss a day but then make it up the next! I need your input on Mark 3:12 "But Jeus strictly warned them not to say who he was". This is mentioned in other chapters as well. Was it because he knew that the more people knew about him and his miracles the more attention he would get and the more pressure he would get from the Jewish Leaders?
On another note. Not sure if you are all aware of the structured meeting time that JD is organizing on Wed nights and Thursday mornings. This structured time is the result of the interest the was generated after Bob's message on leadership a few weeks ago. I have attened the last couple weeks to get an idea of what God was doing. I have been impressed with JD and his passion for discipleship and his experience's he has had in the area and know that God is at work. I have provided the latest info on meeting times / dates below. If you have any questions let me know!
In his Grip -

Men of Coram Deo,
Alright, here it is. We will meet at 6pm on Wednesday nights and 6am Thursday mornings. Please pick one of those times.
This Wednesday, December 14th and Thursday, the15th we will meet at Paradise Bakery (directions at the bottom) in the Regency Court; it will last 1hr. and 30min. Please be on time and come with a Bible, pen, and notebook.
After this week we will take a break for the holidays and pick back up on January 11th. When we resume in January we will start some training on Discipleship, as well as pushing each other in the spiritual disciplines. This will be an important time of spiritual formation for the men of Coram Deo. If you haven't already committed to this please prayerfully consider doing so.
Hope to see you this week. If you can't make this week, but plan to come in January, please let me know. If you have any questions just drop me a line or call me.
God Bless,
JD Senkbile

Kevin, you are right. I believe that He couldn't reveal publically who He was...until the right time. Perhaps He wanted to gain a lot of trust first. Perhaps there is a prophecy in the OT that had to be fulfilled (i have no idea on this one though).
