A Funny Conversation with God

You'll laugh when you read Genesis 18. God warns Abraham that He might demolish Sodom and Gomorrah and then Abraham gets in a funk...because he knows that some righteous people might die.

So Abraham starts to bargain. Will you save the city if there are 50 righteous people? God says Ok. What about 45 righteous people? God says Ok. What about 35? God says Ok. And it keeps going...

It is funny because a) I don't know if God was just playing with him - because in the next chapter God pulls out a can of whoop-*** on Sodom and Gomorrah OR b) maybe God really was honoring Abraham's faith-filled requests.
